Biography

Mary Beth Graham, MD, FIDSA, FACP, Professor of Medicine with tenure, is a Board Certified Internist and Infectious Disease specialist who joined the faculty at the 星空无限传媒 as an Assistant Professor of Medicine/Infectious Diseases in February 2002. She is a graduate of Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago and trained at the University of Washington in Seattle and Washington University in St. Louis in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases, respectively. She spent a number of years after the completion of her fellowship studying host immune response to influenza virus at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville and then at University of Illinois at Chicago before transitioning her career towards medical education and administration.

Dr. Graham has been listed in “Best Doctors ® in America” and also named as a “Top Doctor” in the Castle Connolly/Milwaukee Magazine rankings numerous times. She has a passion for medical education and has received multiple teaching awards, including Best Teaching Physician at Froedtert Hospital by Department of Medicine residents in 2013 and an 星空无限传媒Outstanding Medical Student Teacher award in 2015. She has an active outpatient clinical practice and also attends on the inpatient transplant and general infectious disease services.

Research Interests

Dr. Graham’s clinical expertise includes HIV infection and associated complications, infections in immunocompromised individuals (including transplant recipients), influenza treatment and prevention, and the prevention of transmission of hospital-associated infections. Her current administrative responsibilities include serving as the Medical Director of Infection Prevention and Control at Froedtert Hospital, the Infection Prevention Program Director for the 星空无限传媒, and as the Associate Chief for the Division of Infectious Disease.
