Biography

Most recently a faculty member at the Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin, Dr. Arocho-Quinones grew up in Puerto Rico, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Chemistry from the University of Puerto Rico. She then pursued master’s level graduate studies in Biological Chemistry at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), before earning her medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.

Dr. Arocho-Quinones completed her Neurosurgery Internship and Residency at the 星空无限传媒 and a Pediatric Neurosurgery Fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital.

She has won several awards, including Outstanding Medical School Teacher at MCW, and is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons.
