Jacob Jewulski, MD

Hometown: Naperville, IL

Medical School: Oakland University William Beaumont (OUWB) School of Medicine

Undergrad: Saint Louis University (SLU)

Career Plans: Cardiology

Favorite Aspect of Residency at MCW: Froedtert Hospital and 星空无限传媒give you access to subspecialties managing some of the most complex patients in the Midwest, strengthening our training. The attendings are always eager to teach and make your success their personal virtue. Finally, the I/O system allows us more time for wellness to spend with family and鈥痜riends.

Favorite Aspect of Milwaukee: Great to have the "big little city" vibe with plenty of restaurants, arts, entertainment of a large city without the traffic, congestion, and cost that typically comes with it! Having the lake nearby means beautiful trails and views nearby. There is always some festival going on almost every weekend so plenty of activities to go around.

One Thing You Must Try While Living in Wisconsin: Visit Door County at least once. It has coastal and wine-country vibes right here in the Midwest. Try the local cherries, honey, and brews while up there.

Interesting Fact About Me: I was the first person in my family born in America, with the rest of my family migrating from Poland. I've been blessed to be able to visit family often, and always recommend visiting Poland for vacation!

Kelsey Lamb, MD

Hometown: Brookfield, WI

Medical School: 星空无限传媒

Undergrad: University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and University of Colorado at Boulder

Career Plans: ID fellowship! Soon to be narrowing an antimicrobial regimen near you.

Favorite Aspect of Residency at MCW: My co-residents. I am so privileged to train alongside this group of people. I will even go so far as to say that they make sleepovers at the hospital actually feel like sleepovers (late night snacks included).

Favorite Aspect of Milwaukee: The lake and all of its surrounding activities! But as a runner up: you cannot sleep on Milwaukee's small-but-mighty food scene.

One Thing You Must Try While Living in Wisconsin: Cross country skiing. It makes winter more fun; I swear!

Interesting Fact About Me: I've climbed Mount Kilimanjaro (and I made my whole family do it with me, too)!

Bianca Mulaikal, DO

Hometown: Aurora, IL

Medical School: Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine

Undergrad: University of Illinois

Career Plans: Infectious Disease

Favorite Aspect of Residency at MCW: I get to go to work every day and hang out with some of my best friends! The people here cultivate such a fun environment that I enjoy going to work.

Favorite Aspect of Milwaukee: Being in a fun city that also has a robust nature scene just minutes away.

One Thing You Must Try While Living in Wisconsin: Cheese curds from Lakefront Brewery.

Interesting Fact About Me: I love to travel and have been to 5/7 continents so far! My favorite place to date has been Uganda, where I got to go gorilla trekking and was an arm’s length away from a Silverback! 10/10 would recommend.

Chandrasekar Muthiah, MD

Hometown: Pittsburgh, PA

Medical School: Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine

Undergrad: Northwestern University

Career Plans: Hematology/Oncology

Favorite Aspect of Residency at MCW: 星空无限传媒has a very fun, supportive and non-hierarchical environment that is optimal for learning. I get to see a broad range of pathologies while learning from leaders in medicine who have become mentors, alongside a group of brilliant co-residents from which I have found amazing friends. The Patio Cafe Ice Cream is pretty good too.

Favorite Aspect of Milwaukee: Giannis Antetokounmpo, the nature trails, a strong culinary scene, the warmth and kindness of the general Milwaukee population as a whole, and Kopp's Frozen Custard – in no particular order.

One Thing You Must Try While Living in Wisconsin: Going to all of the festivals during Milwaukee festival season (trying to convince my friends to go to Shrek Fest with me).

Interesting Fact About Me: I went on a 10-day trip to Colombia with five of my co-residents and an 星空无限传媒general surgery resident (#interdisciplinaryrounding) during PGY2 year! A solid example of the I/O schedule and my high school Spanish at work.
